Enthusiastic and Victoria Beckham have hit at fake news generated by societal websites that triggered fevered online speculation that the couple would be to divorce.
Claims the few were to split started circulating on Twitter on Friday morning as well as motivated a high street bookmakers to suspend betting on them getting a divorce.
But suggestions of a’Bexit’ — a disbanding of Britain’s biggest celebrity brand — were scoffed at by the bunch.
The rumours were strongly denied by the Beckhams, clearly exasperated by the speed with which the internet can relay gossip as truth but unchecked.
A spokesman for Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer, stated:»If I spent my time reacting to ridiculous Beckham gossip and rumours there would not be enough hours in the afternoon. What crap. Journalist Chinese whispers and fake news fuelled by interpersonal networking. There’s not any impending statement, no divorce.»
David Beckham’s spokesman stated:»It’s nonsense. It’s one of those laughable, crap items. There’s not any divorce. It’s laughable.»

David Beckham, the former England captain, is now in Miami where he is launching a US-based football team but is expected back in the UK this weekend before a fashion launching on Monday.

On Friday morning, Victoria posted a picture on Instagram of her cuddling Harper and wrote:»We love and miss you David Beckham.»
